Plaid-mageddon

The purpose of the project was to design and flat pattern a shirt and pant. The shirt design explores patterning a collar, sleeves, and a placket. The pant design explores a waistband, a fly front and pockets.

This pant and shirt design showcases Madras plaid as both a representative of its colorful Indian roots and as a symbol of wealth and prestige it came to represent in the west.
